A wardrobe saviour, in the most unexpected hue of indigo marl, the Alva lambswool cardigan is a modern classic garment which can be styled throughout the seasons. The fitted silhouette features a deep v-neckline and two generously sized pockets. This cardigan is crafted from a unique marl custom-spun by Genevieve herself that features a dramatic and eye-catching twist of electric blue, charcoal and burgundy melange.

The Yarn

100% super-fine lambswool

A deep intricate marl custom-spun by Genevieve in rich hues of electric blue melange, burgundy and charcoal melange. A super-fine lambswool spun in Scotland is plied up to give a luxuriously soft handle, durability and irresistible comfort.

This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze are actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.

Inspired by menswear silhouettes, the Alva cardigan was designed using a men’s size guide but button positioning on the womens size.

The Alva cardigan in rich indigo marl is a timeless staple that anchors your capsule wardrobe season after season. Knitted in soft lambswool, it pairs seamlessly with everything—draped over dresses, layered with soft tailoring, or styled with denim—its intricate marl tones adding depth and effortless sophistication to every look.

How to Care

Hand wash or dry clean only.

Thanks to the natural properties of wool and alpaca, your knit rarely needs frequent washing. These fibres are naturally breathable and odour-resistant, meaning a little care goes a long way.

Allow your sweater to rest between wears, air it in fresh air or sunshine, and spot clean when needed. When washing is required, gently hand wash in cool water using a wool detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat.

With thoughtful care, your knit will remain beautifully soft and wearable for years to come.

Monogram

A personal touch with our bespoke monogramming service. Choose up to three characters to be hand-embroidered in a complimentary contrast colour. Thoughtfully chosen by Genevieve and stitched by hand in our British studio.
