A beautifully textural take on the classic winter jumper, knitted from a chunky 100% super-fine slub lambswool in our exclusive GS Lilac Marl.
Designed as the crew-neck for everyday wear, this chunky lambswool sweater has a slightly cropped, boxy silhouette with an all-over moss stitch that celebrates the natural character of the slub yarn. A textural pointelle argyle pattern is worked into the knit, creating subtle geometric detail and adding another layer of texture and craftsmanship.
The combination of lofty lambswool, tactile moss stitch and open pointelle detailing gives the sweater wonderful depth while keeping the overall feel effortless and easy to wear. Chunky and cosy without feeling overly heavy, it is a warm, breathable knit designed for everyday winter dressing.
The chunky Lilac Marl has been exclusively developed by Genevieve, bringing together different tones to create a beautifully dimensional melange that highlights every stitch.
Knitted in small batches at our GS micro-factory in Hertfordshire, England, using super-fine lambswool spun in Scotland.

The Yarn
100% super-fine slub lambswool
Our super-fine lambswool is spun in Scotland plied up into a beautifully textural chunky slub yarn. Creating its distinctive irregular texture is a slow and highly specialised process, with only a limited quantity of the yarn produced each year.
Genevieve creates our exclusive signature marls to celebrate the depth and texture of the slub, combining different tones to give each colour a rich, tactile finish.
The lambswool is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, supporting high standards of animal welfare and responsible land management throughout the wool supply chain.
Crafted in Britain. Knitted in Hertfordshire from Scottish-spun lambswool.

The Weight
The Mora is knitted in a chunky gauge for generous warmth without excessive weight. The lofty structure of the slub lambswool naturally traps warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable to wear.
It makes a wonderfully cosy winter sweater for cold days, while its breathable natural wool means it can be worn from crisp autumn weather right through winter and into cooler spring days.
GS Style Advice
A statement in texture, but incredibly easy to wear.
The slightly cropped, boxy shape works beautifully with denim and tailored trousers for everyday wear, while the intricate moss stitch and pointelle argyle make it special enough to dress up with a full structured skirt.
Wear it over a simple T-shirt or fine base layer on colder days and let the texture of the knit do all the work.
How to Care
Hand wash or dry clean only.
The beauty of wool is that it rarely needs frequent washing. Its natural fibres have self-cleaning and antibacterial properties, meaning a little care goes a long way. Simply allow your knit to rest between wears, air it outside in fresh air or sunshine, and spot clean when needed.
Monogram
A personal touch, hand-finished in our British studio. Choose up to three characters to be hand-embroidered in a complimentary contrast colour, thoughtfully selected by Genevieve. You can also choose a hand-embroidered heart in either red or pink using the dropdown options.
