Meet the Mora Chunky Lambswool Turtleneck Sweater, our new, beautifully cosy, British-made jumper, knitted from 100% lambswool.
Designed with a slightly cropped, boxy silhouette and cosy turtleneck, the Mora has that effortless throw-on-and-go feel you want from a winter sweater. Chunky and wonderfully warm without feeling overly heavy, it is knitted in a plain stitch to let the natural texture and character of the slub lambswool take centre stage. Subtle ribbed detailing at the sides adds structure and a signature GS finish.
The Lilac Marl has been exclusively developed by Genevieve, combining soft colours to create a beautifully dimensional melange rather than a flat block of lilac.
Knitted in small batches at our GS micro-factory in Hertfordshire, England, the Mora is a timeless winter knit designed to be worn and loved for years.

The Yarn
100% super-fine slub lambswool
Our super-fine lambswool is spun in Scotland plied up into a beautifully textural chunky slub yarn. Creating its distinctive irregular texture is a slow and highly specialised process, with only a limited quantity of the yarn produced each year.
Genevieve creates our exclusive signature marls to celebrate the depth and texture of the slub, combining different tones to give each colour a rich, tactile finish.
The lambswool is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, supporting high standards of animal welfare and responsible land management throughout the wool supply chain.

The Weight
The Mora is knitted in a chunky gauge for generous warmth without excessive weight. The lofty structure of the slub lambswool naturally traps warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable to wear.

Genevieve loves a turtleneck for those properly cold winter days, especially when working in the studio or out in the garden when a scarf just isn’t practical. How to Care
Hand wash or dry clean only.
The beauty of wool is that it rarely needs frequent washing. Its natural fibres have self-cleaning and antibacterial properties, meaning a little care goes a long way. Simply allow your knit to rest between wears, air it outside in fresh air or sunshine, and spot clean when needed.
Monogram
A personal touch, hand-finished in our British studio. Choose up to three characters to be hand-embroidered in a complimentary contrast colour, thoughtfully selected by Genevieve. You can also choose a hand-embroidered heart in either red or pink using the dropdown options.
