Undeterred, she travelled to Derbyshire – yarn in hand – to learn the art of knitting socks instead. The result was the Solline, a truly unique piece of craftsmanship that blends natural gold melange viscose cotton with gold lurex. It’s finished with a stylish scattering of tonal silk tweeds.

Rather than sourcing her production overseas, she works closely with a family- run, Derbyshire-based mill that manufactures in small batches to reduce waste.
