Yarn Details

The Soro black is made from sumptuously soft and lofty merino wool elevated with a hit of cashmere and a lustrous twist of metallic gold lamé for that extra luxe touch for relaxing at home. Meanwhile, contrast-colour heels and toes in Charcoal grey evoke a timeless sense of style.

Sustainable Notes

To create the Soro sock, Genevieve approached a family-run mill based in Derbyshire, and after spotting small batches of unused yarns, decided to rescue them from simply being thrown away. Many were end-of-line yarns from her womenswear collection, so Genevieve let her creativity run wild, twisting them together and producing completely unique blends out of otherwise wasted product. Twisting the yarns together can take hours and is something most factories wouldn’t have time for; but for Genevieve, it’s all about embracing the joy of slow manufacturing – and in doing so creating something truly original and beautiful.

The Soro is knitted in small, limited edition batches to help ensure as little waste as possible.
