Knitted in a luxurious baby alpaca and merino wool blend, its stormy lilac melange is punctuated with flecks of colourful tweeds that bring subtle depth and character to the knit.

Seamlessly knitted in Leicester, this innovative construction creates a beautifully clean finish while reducing yarn waste. Soft, lofty and unexpectedly lightweight, Willow balances warmth with breathability — a contemporary sweater that feels as good as it looks.

The Yarn

37% Baby Alpaca, 26% Fine Merino Wool, 2% Viscose, 35% Recycled Polyamide

The Willow sweater is knitted in a luxurious baby alpaca and fine merino wool blend, chosen for its exceptional softness, warmth and breathability. The yarn has a beautifully lofty, sumptuous handle that feels feather-light despite the chunky knit structure.

Presented in a stormy lilac melange, the yarn is scattered with delicate rainbow tweed flecks, creating a subtle confetti effect that brings depth and individuality to each sweater.

Baby alpaca — the first shear of the alpaca fibre — is prized for its incredibly soft, lightweight and insulating qualities. Naturally breathable and durable, it provides warmth without weight while remaining gentle against the skin. Alpacas also have a relatively low environmental impact, requiring minimal water and grazing in a way that protects their natural ecosystems.

To enhance durability and strength, we have custom spun this yarn with recycled polyamide, reinforcing the delicate alpaca fibres while maintaining their softness and loft. This thoughtful addition improves the longevity and resilience of the knit.

The fibres are sourced through a spinner committed to responsible production and certified to both the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS). The mill is also a member of the International Alpaca Association, supporting the protection of alpaca fibre, breeders and landscapes in Peru.

The Weight

Knitted in a chunky 5-gauge knit, Willow has a beautifully structured feel while remaining surprisingly lightweight. The lofty alpaca fibres create an airy softness that feels buttery smooth against the skin, without the heaviness often associated with chunky knitwear.

The perfect weight for spring layering — airy, breathable and softly insulating, yet still offering the comforting warmth of a gentle hug.

How to Care

Hand wash or dry clean only.

The beauty of wool is that it rarely needs frequent washing. Its natural fibres have self-cleaning and antibacterial properties, meaning a little care goes a long way. Simply allow your knit to rest between wears, air it outside in fresh air or sunshine, and spot clean when needed.

A personal touch with our bespoke monogramming service. Choose up to three characters to be hand-embroidered in a complimentary contrast colour. Thoughtfully chosen by Genevieve and stitched by hand in our British studio.
