Claudia Winkleman in GS: Meet the Lin Vest from Celebrity Traitors

I’ve seen the Celebrity Traitors 2026 promo image everywhere. Then someone spotted it on a mural in Manchester. Each time, I have to look twice: Claudia Winkleman is wearing our Lin Jacquard Vest.

A little darkness, a little sparkle

I designed Lin with that contrast in mind. Its deep charcoal and teal jacquard takes inspiration from the irregular marks of lichen: a modern, slightly unexpected take on traditional tartan. Fine threads of silver bring a subtle shimmer as the light catches them.

That mix of texture, rich colour and sparkle feels wonderfully at home in Claudia’s Traitors wardrobe. The vest has presence, and how beautifully as Claudia's stylist Sinead Mckeefry styled the vest with a sharp white shirt and pleated tailored skirt.

How did Lin end up on Claudia?

I met Sinéad many years ago through her work as Fearne Cotton’s stylist. She has included our British-made socks in shoots for years, so each of the past two years I sent her a box of GS knitwear as options for The Traitors.

This year, the box didn’t come back.

A couple of months ago, I received an email from Sinéad and her wonderful team telling me that Lin would be worn by Claudia. I was thrilled. But I never imagined I’d see it in the promotional photographs, let alone on a mural in Manchester! What a surprise.

The craft behind the knit

Lin begins in Leicester, where fine Scottish-spun lambswool is knitted into its intricate two-colour jacquard. The panels then travel to our GS micro-factory in Hertfordshire, where we hand link them together, stitch by stitch.

The studio is full of excitement as we knit and link more Lin vests. This is our apprentice Poppy’s first winter season with us, and what a moment to be part of: developing a heritage skill while helping to make the knit worn by Claudia Winkleman. I don’t think either of us will forget it.

How to wear the Lin Vest

For a look inspired by Claudia’s dramatic Traitors style, layer Lin over a crisp shirt or a fine Quin tshirt and add tailored trousers.. For everyday wear, I love the contrast of its shimmer with relaxed denim. You can also pair it with the matching Lin skirt for a more striking evening look - this is a style I wore on repeat last winter, and it is so effortless to dress up and down.
