The perfect knitwear staple for the warmer months, our Quin t-shirt is crafted from lightweight, breathable Merino wool. It’s perfect for those days when you want to bear your arms, but there’s a chill in the air, providing just the right degree of warmth. Intending this to be a wardrobe staple to be worn on its own or layered with other knits, the colour palette is inspired and made by Mother Nature– Quin is available in a neutral beige, deep red, dusty pink, neutral grey and stormy indigo blue. Whatever your preferred tone, it’s easy to mix and match Quin with our other knits for a look that’s wholly unique to you.
The wool which our Quin t-shirts are spun from is regenerative, RWS-certified Merino wool. Merino is one of my absolute favourite wools to both knit and to wear, thanks to its unique properties. It’s breathable and thermoregulating, helping to keep wearers cool in the heat and warm in cold climates. Our Merino is naturally dyed using pure botanical colour, with 60% of the plants used in the dyeing process sourced locally to the yarn mill in Italy where it is dyed. The wool is then expertly knitted in the UK, using a fully-fashioned technique that minimises waste, subsequently finished by hand linking. These processes combine heritage craftsmanship with a refined, modern finish.
Quin has an incredibly versatile design; it can be worn on its own or layered during the colder months. Its modern silhouette, featuring a longer length sleeve and flattering fit, allow for a multitude of styling ideas. If you’re unsure how you would wear our Quin t-shirts, perhaps take inspiration from Penny and Nikki of Style in the Stix, who recently styled and photographed Quin for us.
Layer with tonal knits
We love how Penny and Nikki styled our soft red Quin t-shirt with our Lenzie brushed wool cardigan in lilac heather. The soft lilac and red tones just complement each other beautifully, bringing colour into your wardrobe during any time of year. Paired with loosely tailored beige trousers, this could elevate your office outfits, also taking you straight from the workplace to post-work drinks. If the sun starts to shine, simply wrap the cardigan around your waist for a nonchalant look.
Dress up for evening wear
Our Aria viscose jacquard skirt makes the perfect pairing for dressing up Quin for wearing to a restaurant, cocktail bar or evening event. Penny and Nikki paired our beige Quin t-shirt with our emerald green Aria skirt, but you could mix and match other colours – the indigo t-shirt would work beautifully with the blue skirt for a monochrome look. I particularly love the contrast of materials here, with the soft merino and intricate jacquard juxtaposing for an elegant finish.
Treat as a basic
I love how the Style in the Stix girl styled the indigo Quin t-shirt with a long-length denim skirt, bringing a pop of colour into the outfit with a bright red sock. As the Quin’s are all quite muted colours, they just work so well as a basic that you can add personality to through accessories. A bold necklace or pair of earrings would work just as well (or accompanying) a vibrant sock with this outfit.
Other ways to style
The beauty of our Quin t-shirt is that it is so versatile, there are endless ways to style it. If your personal style is more minimal or casual, you can simply pair it with your favourite jeans (I particularly like wearing mine with deep indigo wide-leg denim). It looks great with a pair of tailored shorts in the summer, can be layered beneath a pair of dungarees, or worn with a simple silky black maxi skirt.
