As the season turns and we begin to gather indoors for winter warmth and festive cheer, we’re delighted to unveil the AW25 edition of our luxury reusable Christmas crackers. These aren’t your average crackers. They promise to bring wonder, sustainability, and a cosy little treat to your Christmas table, year after year.

Why We Love Reusable Christmas Crackers
From the start, our goal has been simple: to create a cracker that is beautiful and practical. I love the ritual of Christmas crackers — the laughter, the shared surprises — but like many, I’ve always hated the cheap plastic gifts and the waste at the end of the meal: the flimsy cardboard, the ribbons that can’t be composted, and the forgettable trinkets that end up in a drawer.
So in 2023, I created our first reusable crackers, knitted from end-of-production yarn, tied with compostable ribbons, and filled with a scented lavender bag and a surprise pair of GS socks.
That original concept resonated — they sold out far too quickly last year, by the 2nd of November — and this year I’ve refined it even further, evolving the materials, colours, and little details to make the crackers even more beautiful, joyful, and sustainable.

What makes our British-made Christmas Crackers so special?
This year, I’m making each cracker myself in our Hertfordshire studio — a slow, thoughtful process that celebrates craft and ensures every detail is just right, using end-of-line production yarn - ensuring there is zero waste in my production. It also ensures that every cracker design is limited edition, as I only have a small amount of each yarn.

Discover two striking colourways in a geometric jacquard pattern inspired by a vintage prints, brought to life with subtle accents of sparkle. Choose from a festive palette with nods to traditional burgundy and navy, or a modernist statement in grey and blue. Both pair beautifully with seasonal table linens, natural foliage, or artisanal ceramics.
These Christmas crackers are built to last and become a family heirloom year after year. After the first Christmas, simply refill them with your own little tokens — chocolate, notes, or small gifts — or order new surprises from us.
Inside: Cosy Socks & Festive Lavender
-
Socks: Choose your size (UK 4–7, 6–8.5, 9–11 or 11–13) and we’ll include a mystery pair. Each one is made in Derbyshire by a family-run mill, using the most luxurious, highest-quality yarns.
-
Lavender Bag: I hand-pick and dry lavender from a local farm in Essex, then blend it with cedarwood to create a warm, wintery scent that also keeps moths at bay.
Launching with Pre-Orders & a Little Surprise
Because last year’s crackers sold out so quickly, we’re launching this year’s collection with pre-orders — giving you the chance to secure your favourite colourways and sizes early.
To celebrate 10 years of Genevieve Sweeney, we’re adding an extra festive touch: 10 golden tickets will be randomly tucked into pre-orders, each one offering a special prize.

How to Style Them on Your Table
These crackers can be balanced on a tree branch, perched beside your plates, or nestled beneath the tree as charming gifts. They’re also perfect for gifting from afar — guaranteed to wow on arrival.
-
Layer natural textures: Pair the crackers with linen napkins, porcelain plates and velvet ribbons. The knitted fabric brings softness and tactility to crisp tableware.
-
Make them part of your centrepiece: Place them amid greenery, pinecones, or seasonal berries to weave them naturally into your tablescape.
-
Coordinate colour themes: Echo the cracker shades in your decorations — deep greens and reds for tradition, or bold modernist patterns for a statement look. Don’t be afraid to layer colour and pattern for extra impact.
-
Use as place settings: Tie name tags along the cracker ends or use them as personalised placeholders for each guest.
The Gift That Keeps on Giving
These AW25 crackers make perfect gifts — for “the person who has everything,” for sock-lovers, or simply for someone you want to surprise. They arrive beautifully wrapped, ready to place under the tree without spoiling the surprise.
In a time when so many things are disposable, these crackers are a small act of care: for the planet, for your guests, and for the spirit of Christmas itself. May they bring delight, warmth, and a touch of sustainable magic to your table in 2025 and beyond.
