Introducing Our First Baby Lambswool Gift Set
We’re delighted to introduce our first Baby Lambswool Gift Set, thoughtfully designed to cocoon your new arrival in the softest, safest British lambswool. This three-piece set includes a Lambswool Baby Blanket, a Zip-Up Lambswool Bag, and a Lambswool Beanie, all knitted in small batches using the finest Yorkshire-spun lambswool. Naturally insulating, breathable and exceptionally soft, lambswool helps keep babies warm without the risk of overheating—making it one of the best natural materials for newborns and young children.

The collection is inspired by Genevieve’s own children, who famously adopted her oversized scarves as their comfort blankets—snuggling into them on long car journeys, curling up with them in their buggies, and later drifting to sleep with them in bed. Available in four gentle, timeless colourways—Mint, RoseHip, Blue and Putty—these heirloom pieces are designed to be cherished, used daily, and passed on to future generations.
“I wanted to create something that feels effortlessly stylish when you're in the midst of no sleep and can barely think about feeling put together. The bag is simple yet effective and makes you feel a little bit like you again—just put everything in and go.
I always wanted my babies to wear wool, but so many wool items felt high-maintenance. These blankets can be easily spot washed, they’re incredibly durable, yet beautifully soft and cosy. And the beanies actually stay on—tried, tested and loved by my own children.
Every piece is made in our GS Studio in Hertfordshire using Yorkshire lambswool. I choose this yarn for its depth of colour, timeless melange shades and its ability to transition through the seasons. We knit in small batches and offer blanket monogramming—with initials, a date of birth, or a simple heart.”
The Baby Lambswool Gift Set
Baby Lambswool Blanket
Knitted in small batches in the UK, our lambswool baby blanket is ultra-soft, lightweight and naturally breathable—making it beautifully gentle on sensitive newborn skin. It’s perfect for prams, naps, tummy time or quiet morning cuddles.
Inspired by Genevieve’s children and their beloved woollen comfort pieces, this blanket is crafted to accompany little ones from babyhood into childhood and beyond. Finished with our refined GS signature edge, it blends timeless elegance with modern simplicity.

With a waterproof lining and a soft lambswool exterior mirroring the blanket’s design, it combines practicality with quiet luxury—perfect for days out or simply staying organised at home.
Baby Lambswool Beanie
Our lambswool beanie is soft, breathable and naturally insulating—keeping babies warm without overheating. Its snug, comfortable fit ensures it stays on (a detail Genevieve’s children were happy to prove), making it the perfect everyday layer for cooler months.
Each piece in the collection is crafted in Britain at our GS Studio in Hertfordshire using Yorkshire lambswool. Choose from four timeless colours—Mint, RoseHip, Blue and Putty. A beautiful, meaningful gift for any new baby.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is lambswool safe and suitable for my baby’s sensitive skin?
Softness That Calms and Comforts
Lambswool comes from the first shearing of a sheep, giving it an exceptional softness. Its fine fibres are gentle and smooth, making it ideal for delicate newborn skin. Our blanket set wraps your baby in natural comfort from the moment you bring them home.
Naturally Kind to Sensitive Skin
Lambswool is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to dust mites, offering reassurance for babies with sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Why is lambswool a good choice for baby blankets?
1. Helps Regulate Your Baby’s Temperature
Babies can struggle to maintain their body temperature. Lambswool naturally balances warmth and breathability, keeping them in that “just right” zone—snug but never overheated. Whether in the pram or settling down for a nap, it adapts beautifully.
2. Draws Moisture Away From the Skin
Lambswool can hold up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp. If your baby gets warm, the fibres wick moisture away to keep their skin dry and comfortable.
3. Lightweight, Soothing Warmth
Unlike synthetics that trap heat or heavy cotton layers, lambswool offers warmth without weight—ideal for helping babies settle and relax.
4. Stays Naturally Fresh and Clean
Lanolin in lambswool provides antibacterial and odour-resistant properties. This means your blanket stays fresher for longer and requires less washing—a bonus for busy parents and better for the planet.
5. Surprisingly Durable
Despite its delicacy, lambswool is strong and long-lasting. With appropriate care it resists pilling, holds its shape, and can be passed down as a treasured keepsake. It's amazing how a simple spot wash with wash away without an issue.
6. A Sustainable, Natural Choice
Renewable, biodegradable and responsibly sourced, lambswool is an eco-conscious option for families who value natural fibres and sustainable craftsmanship.
